A bit of a downer!! But I can get up as long as I go down!!

Today was my weigh in at SW's group and after trying so hard all week I have only lost 1/2 pound. It is so hard to hear others say that they have lost pounds and pounds and had nights out eating and drinking and I haven't. I had one half a glass to taste one of Mike's home made ones which was very, very nice and that was all.
I did not (for once over indulge) on sunday which is my danger day!
But truth be told I haven't had a very active week, but it was too dry to plant my new pansies and then it was too wet to go out to the garden. So I am miserable but then this was my Proverbs 31 verse today.
Ephesians 2:10: "For I am God's beautiful masterpiece. He has created me anew in Christ Jesus, so I can do the good things He planned for me long ago."

So with new enthusiasm and knowing that it is already God's plan I can lose that weight I am encouraged to stay at the food plan, I don't want to be megga thin just out of the dangerous obese register.
I know what to do, I have had encouragement and ideas, but if I don't put those ideas into action I am not going to do it.

The closest you get to your target, the harder it is to lose it. Half a pound is great for a week...absolutely fine and healthy!
Congratulations. Home made wine..mmmm. I think you should be very proud of yourself for stopping at half a glass. I wouldn@t!!!!

Congrats, the slower it comes off the more likely it is to stay off.

Oh hon - hang in there. Those last few pounds are the big struggle.
Loved your photos of your stitchy weekend. It is such fun to get together with other stitchers (enablers) lol.

LOL..RE my parsnips: I think it uses about 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil to bake an oven tray full of parsnips and most of the oil is still in there at the end lol (and that is in cluding the time bit I drizzle on to mix with the dampness to get the flour to stick lol). Feeds about 6 as an accompanyment! And you can always use less by just adding the spicy flour when still wet from water lol

Hang in there; sometimes a bigger weight loss comes the next week or so, even when you've been good. You're doing great!

Hey I agree with what others have said - the closer you get it is much harder - remember half a pound is nearly a quarter of a bag of sugar! Sending you hugs. Michelle x

You do so well to stick to the plan Chris, I just wish I'd got your determination, at least you won't get "bingo wings" with all the exercise your arms get with your cross stitch lol.....love and hugs...Sue x

D't worry dear, each body is different. And it also could be that they had nights out and then they didn't eat more for the whole week and the weight lost too fast is recovered even faster ♥

My hubbie is at SW - sent by his doctor for weight/health issues. Some weeks he has only lost a small amount but it all counts in the end. Keep it up, it'll be worth the effort!!

It has taken me ages to lose my weight this time so I empathise with you. You do have to press on though and those half pounds do add up. It may have taken me ages but I have lost a stone and 2 and a hlf pounds. Most of that is half pounds adding up. If it keeps going slow email me and I'll give you some tips on how to get it going again. xx
