I knitted another pair of socks I think I have the sock knitting bug!! These are mine so a change to knit something for me! Yvonne loved hers and so did her Mum so Yvonne is knitting her some
My Travelling Stitcher SAL:- I have only stitched a small part as I am not rushing to finish this. I am going to take the five weeks to enable me to fit in all my other stitching and knitting!
And this is my Lavender and Lace, Celtic Lady, 'Summer. 'I have stitched the three lower motifs and I so love this I could stitch it all the time. I have stitched some of the beads at the top and it makes it look fantastic. (Or 'lush' as Stacy would say!! I am really going to miss 'Gavin and Stacey' !)
So that's my week, it doesn't seem a lot done but I have stitched or knitted most evenings.Hope if you're in snow like us you're keeping warm and have enough stash so you won't worry that you'll run out of things to stitch while you're holed up inside!! LOL
I am not doing so many exchanges this year and want to press on with my WIPs and perhaps peep at my UFOs!! Dare I??? LOL
Happy Stitching all
Chris x

Hello again Chris and Happy 2010. Your socks and embroidery look lovely. As soon as I have finished unpacking I plan to begin a cross stitch I was given years ago and kept to begin in my retirement! I love knitting as well and have an aran jumper on the go at the moment!
We saw the last Gavin and Stacey so will watch the repeats now - great programme. A x
PS the word verification is happiart!
LOL , I have enough stash to keep me occupied if we get snowed in for about twenty years. Hope it doesn't come to that . ;D
Love your socks , and the Celtic Lady is going to be stunning. x
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment! I came to take a peek at your blog and what do I find: such lovely projects!
Convent's Herbal Garden is a lovely design, and I'd very much like to stitch it someday. The trouble is that there are just too many lovely Chatelaine designs, and they do take "a little" time to finish :-)
Those socks look nice and cosy!
Congratulations on your first finish, and good luck with your WIPs - staying home and stitching in this weather sounds good to me!
Wow, you are so ambitious and creative! I like all the colors in your socks!
You must be a very patient person! I tried needlework years ago but everything took so darn long to complete, I'd lose interest.
I so admire what you do!
Run out of stash? ROFL ;0)
Another lovely pair of socks & a good start on TS. Good progress on BR & CS too - both very lovely pieces. :0)
Chris, your WIP's are all wonderful. Traveling Stitcher is very sweet, I clicked on CLS to see the beading....it is lovely...I look forward to seeing these bloom.
Love your warm and cozy socks...I knit simple things...someday I'd love to do socks...you are very talented....hugs, Linda
Ahh...so people DO have more than one WIP at a time. Maybe just the experts...
Lovely work.
Now those socks must be perfect for keeping your toes warm - so cold here in Staffordshire today and snowing like mad. Your photos are lovely. I haven't yet had chance to start my Travelling Stitcher but hope to by middle of this week. Keep warm and well Michelle x
What lovely socks those are. Love the yarn color.
Love the progresses on your various stitches. Some pieces just call to us don't they and they are hard to put down.
Your tootsies should be nice and warm in those!
Love the socks! Stitching is awesome!
Love the socks, i really do need to try and knit on 4 pins not just on the 2 that i have been doing...
Travelling Stitcher is coming on nicely as are your other WIP's
Looks great Chris. Love the socks and your stitching is great
