Our town isn't known for its Christmas lights, but the shops always look good.. not quite dressed for Christmas yet. but still pretty. This is the flower shop with the lovely seasonal flowers and plants on view.
I was a Saturday girl in their other shop many, many years ago!
I love this shop and buy a lot of plants from them. People have the opinion that they are expensive, but they are top quality plants and I've never had a failure from there. In this display there is a small artificial snowdrop plant that has silver sparkles on it and I want it!! It will look super in our front pots in all the greenery! The Maple shops are lovely, here is the Children's shop, Love those little dolls displayed as though in windows. Maple is a firm and there are 6 shops all different. We like the kitchen shop too.
Bliss a gift shop and very nice too. and looking spectacular.
Even the charity shops look good!!
A lot of people here think town is not so good, but it is and there are some superb shops here. Someone started talking to me in one of the cafes a little while ago.( Well I might have said Hello to her first!' ) And she had bags full of things bought here and couldn't find enough good things to say, how nice our little town was. She was complaining that Swansea had lost a lot of shops and certainly didn't have gift shops there, as we have here... anyway we love it and it fulfils our needs.. and altho I'm not a big advocate of Aldi, it suits me for walking on wet days!!

It's so important to hold on to your good independent shops, isn't it.
The English really know how to do window displays, these ones a tasteful and and attractive. They don't shout at you just invite you to come see. Unfortunately the city decorations here (Perth) are hideous!
Love those beautiful shop windows!
I will close my eyes and pretend I am walking right past all these lovely shop windows. And why put out Christmas decorations when there are all those beautiful live plants!
The adage you get what you paid for is very true, I always try and buy the best of anything (that I can afford). Your shop windows are a delight and I like independent shops as you often get good service. We have lots of independents here in Belper, according to several newspaper polls its the place to move too. Hugs Xx
I love all the shops in Porthcawl and visit a few times a year from Cardiff. Coffee on the Prom and then a walk around the shops including the charity shops. I always try to support a few of them when I visit. We then drive to Rest Bay for a picnic lunch and admire the rolling surf.
Lovely photographs, I do like shop windows ... they look beautiful.
All the best Jan
All the shops look lovely and I'm sure a pleasure to shop there. I know I would like it!!!
