This is the quilt I am working on at the moment. It's called 'Twin Stars,' from Jelly Roll Quilts by Pam and Nicky Linott. The fabric I am using is Moda's French General which I bought at a quilting show in Duxford last spring. There are 17 blocks like this one,
squares and flying geese and these are all completed.
And 18 blocks made up of half square triangles and flying geese.
Not easy!
Here are some laid out, I like it.... a lot!
It hasn't been easy and my unpicker has been used constantly, but I feel I am winning as I only have 9 more blocks to make of the triangles and flying geese and the fabric is all cut out ready. And my progress of my cut through Beach Hut has had frogs hopping by this last week too.
Don't you just hate that, each evening having to unpick some of what you had stitched the night before... arg!!! LOL
But I stitch on and enjoy all I do..
Happy days!

Hello Chris
Your quilt looks beautiful, I love the colours.
Sorry to hear about the frog! Despite him your wip looks great!
Somedays everything just seems to flow and is effortless; other days, if it can go wrong it will go wrong. Love the quilt. It will be beautiful when finished!
Your quilt looks amazing! You are so talented, Chris! I will add your Beach Hut photo to the SAL page. This is such a cute design!
Your squares are lovely, Chris. You're making lots of progress on the beach hut too! Very nice.
ooOoo! Those colors in the quilt are lovely.
I really like the colours on your Twin Stars quilt. And the beach hut one is coming along very nicely.
Your quilts going to be stunning. Frogs.... They must be trying to escape the heat and coming inside lol.
Wow your quilts going to be so sweet..
Sweet stitches on beach hut xxx

I love the colors of this quilt ~ beautiful!
Chris ... Your quilting is the second batch I've seen this morning. I commented to the first person that she is almost making me want to start quilting again! Now I come here & find this! Sigh! If only we could do it all. Your quilt will be beautiful when it's done.
Love the patterns and colors of your quilt! Your little Beach Hut looks great - hopefully no more frogs. :)
