And this is what has kept me really busy. Its a quilt made from a jelly roll of Moda's Wildflowers design. It's for my GD to take to Uni
A simple pattern of squares and rectangles but it still took me awhile to make.
I finished the binding last evening sitting out after our BBQ meal in the beautiful warm evening. We have been having such super summer weather of late. Now I should really do some of my stitching which has been left.. but I think I have the quilting bug and I already have the fabric for my next project!
Happy Days!

Hi Chris,
thanks for your lovely comment on my blog.
The stitcheries you like so much are from a book called Red Home by Natalie Bird. It is a relatively new project.
What a lovely quilt you made for your grand daughter. She will be so pleased!

Hello
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving such a kind comment.
You have a lovely blog.
That quilt for your GD is beautiful, she is very lucky!
I hope you enjoy the Para-Olympics, those tickets sound great.
Such a beautiful gift for your granddaughter to snuggle up in whilst away from home during the winter months. Lucky girl!
That is gorgeous!! Beautiful job!!
That's a gorgeous quilt Chris, I'm sure your GD will love it.
Super schön!!!1
Liebe Grüße Grit
Beautiful quilt!!
oh so pretty! Absolutely perfect! I am struggling: I seem to have so many bugs...and not enough hours in the day lol. When bugs produce something as lovely as your quilt then it is a bug worth having rofl
hi Chris Oh I think that Moda jelly roll has worked fab for this quilt. It was nice to make but I agree it took me the best part of three weeks to put together. Still need to add the boarders. :)
