Hot!

The new Eastern Prom, super for walking if you're a bit doddery and hate paving slabs like me. We walked along here yesterday although hot,  we were out before it was too warm.

It's near to where I grew up as a child and I always get a whoosh of memories remembering those days, when my friends and I played here.

To me it seems like only the other day sometimes,  and then others years ago! How many children of today play on the beach without an adult supervising them?

But it was pleasant walking and there were quite a few people around. We met two  friends from our SW group and had a lovely chat with them, but didn't join them for coffee, because we'd had one earlier and even a de-caff one can be an irritant, to my iffy bladder.
And another deterrent was it was at Sidoli's who have the most delicious ice cream so a definite place to swerve!

It was nice to get out and it did me good socialising.. all this too hot weather is keeping us inside, it worse than lock down! How are you managing in the heat?

I'm just glad I'm not our neighbour's black cat, covered in a thick long coat of fur and no way of wearing something cooler!

How hot is hot, we're told 28c is a heatwave in Britain. Hot in Aus is 35c plus. Low 30c's is considered a warm relief.

We have had it hot here too. I'm headed out very soon in the morning cool to do some weeding. Only time to do it and not come in covered in sweat.

What a beautiful promenade. Those papers look very pretty with the sea in the background. Had one week of cool weather but now we're back to Steve humidity and high temperatures also not quite as high.

When I come in, I get the no secure connection screen, with a reload button. I hit reload and here I am. Just fyi.
I find that in our extreme heat, a lot of July, I got cabin fever from having so little ability to even leave the house, let alone go anywhere. At this point high eighties f. feels moderate by comparison so I'm out again.

We are walking early every morning ahead of the blistering heat too. There are great memories in that area for you! Wonderful!

Anything 25C or above is too hot for me, 23C is not too bad!
We need more rain!

All the best Jan

It looks lovely. I always get a touch of nostalgia when I'm walking the beaches of my childhood.

Too hot for me here too and like you I've been keeping indoors as much as possible. Your beach looks a lovely place for a walk, wish I had somewhere with views like that.
