This has made me feel so sad this morning.. Such a lovely man, age 66 has died.
He lived in the next little village from us in Suffolk; you could see his house from the main road going through his village and as we drove along and it came into view I used to say 'Good Morning Bill' every time

That's so sad. It's hard to lose someone in our lives that has enrichened it.
So sad, he seemed such a lovely man. I was sad when he left BBC Breakfast.

Yes - a good man who did his job professionally but was clearly an encourager and a kind friend to colleagues, as well as mindful of the viewers. RIP Bill
Very sad, he died too young.
