No competition for me! I have been trying to convince my husband for years to move back to our old 1938 neighborhood!
I always seem to go for the older pretty one and my husband the new one. :)

I'd go for the older home. They seem to have so much more character than the newer ones.

Amazing photo---love it! There are pros and cons to both. Repairs and such can be very difficult, but older homes definitely do have more personality then some of the 'cookie cutter' newer ones do.
