Nothing beats a pancake with a squeeze of lemon and a sprinkle of sugar. We have celebrated Shrove Tuesday with traditional pancakes cooked in butter of course.
When my children were little I used to make 4 each and for their dad too so 20. I ate mine standing at the cooker! As they got older my youngest son, Michael took over the cooking.
Today my lovely husband cooked for me, so we have eaten our fill and not thought about the SW food plan! They were lush!
I shall weigh on Friday at group with my eyes closed and ask the member doing the weighing not to say out loud, just write it in my book!!

Pancakes are superdelicious, and pikelets. I remember going to our cousins as kids, they had pikelets for sweets, which they covered with sugar, we were used to just butter. But they had way more fillings than us and their father was a dentist.
These types of Pancakes look to have been delicious.
A few pancakes shouldn't make a difference if you've stuck to plan all week and if you enjoyed them don't feel guilty. We used to have them when the kids were small but I don't make them now because I don't like them
Lemond Juice and sugar is the only thing to put on pancakes for me. Here in Canada the pancakes are thick with lots of maple syrup, not fond of that at all.
I've never put lemon on my pancakes. Lemon and powdered sugar sounds delicious.
I can't eat pancakes now, because of the eggs, but used to love them with lemon and sugar.
Pancakes always remind me of my dear Mum ... her pancakes were always delicious served with lemon and sugar.
All the best Jan
We love pancakes here at my house and we eat them often. I always just put maple syrup on mine but the lemon and sugar sound delicious and next time I'm going to try that!! :)
Our eldest grandchild makes the pancakes now when they stay over. Hubby supervises.
I completely forgot pancake day, we always had them when the kids were little. I like mine best with butter and a sprinkle of sugar.
I have never had pancakes like that! I will have to try it.
