Perfect!

The best days are those when you don't need anything extreme or special to happen to make it great. You just appreciate and enjoy what it is and that's perfect enough.

And that's been my Sunday. We had a delicious chicken dinner with our own sprouts and baby potatoes, plus some cauliflower and French beans from Mr Tesco, superbly cooked by Dh and then stewed rhubarb and a Banana Custard yogurt, which finished off the meal perfectly. I would have loved this but kept to the SW food plan.

And then we watched the rain running down our windows, and we might have dozed!!  We welcomed the early evening with the clock change, drew the curtains and settled in the warm of our home for the Strictly results, and our choices are through to dance another week, hurrah!!

What did you do?

The fruit loaf looks beautiful.

Lovely sounding meal. Our time change is this Sat. They let the children Trick or Treat before we change time.

Totally agree. A warm home, a good meal and the fellowship of those we love. [And a cup of tea now and then] This is enough

Sounds like a perfect day. Relaxing while it rains is the best.
We had church in the morning, then went for a nice walk. We had chili for supper which tasted good on a cold day.

Sounds very restful. Our Sunday was busier, and the clocks here in the US haven't changed yet, unfortunately. It is so dark in the mornings! We had a very pretty day, and i enjoyed getting out in the garden today pick a few things and visit with the chickens in their new coop.

We don't have daylight saving in west Aus it's too hot. East Aus changed their clocks already but many people don't like it.

I find every day routines enjoyable. :) I started Sunday as usual with a morning walk. Then it was Sunday School and church in the morning. Home for lunch, a relaxing afternoon. We go to church again in the evening. Home for my ice cream snack.
A great day.
