Late Tuesday afternoon I had a call from our Surgery re:- my blood test, my thyroxin dose is too low! I've been saying for months something was wrong, I was sleeping too heavily and dozing during the day and my weight loss had stopped and I was gaining! So now I shouldn't have to struggle so much to lose, except its Christmas so not following the SW plan..altho I won't go mad.
But we started Christmas yesterday, because we ate out with the Reading Group. And it was super, delish food, good company and a really nice Christmas Santa present. A jigsaw and a coloring book and Dh had a book about Wales and a packet of shortbread biscuits.
So a delightful afternoon. We came home and tried one of Dh's biscuits with a nice cup of tea!
I've bought myself some new nighties from a firm in Kent so I got changed into one early evening.. the sleeves are a bit long but otherwise perfect for me. This a model on the site. One of the things I like to do on cold, wet, winter nights is get cosy in my nightie, watching the TV, guess I must be getting old!

I'm so glad you have found the reason for the issues. Have a lovely day. xx
In the winter time nothing feels as good as putting on a super warm gown for the evening while you have your feet up watching a bit of TV.
Your new dose of thyroid medicine should help. I'm glad they figured that out. Who doesn't like to get cozy this time of year? :)
This is one time when you are happy to see your lab test off. You should feel better when your thyroid levels go up.
I also love to get into my cozy PJ's and relax!
Our grand-girls like to do the same. Age doesn’t matter for that comfort I guess!
I would buy that nightie. I love hanging around in my nightgowns and robes. So comfortable!
I'm glad your thyroid medication is finally sorted. I also love changing into my warm comfies and curling up in my comfortable recliner😊
I too change into pjs before settling down to watch a movie with Dan in the evening.
I hope things will improve for you now. What a pity the 'experts' don't always listen to the patient, who is the one who knows best what is happening.
Your new dose of thyroid medicine should help and I'm sure you will begin to feel better.
My grandchildren often get cosy (quite early) in their PJ's, I've started taking a leaf out of their book LOL!
Happy end of week wishes to you.
All the best Jan
Ah yes, getting cozy in a nightie is such a pleasure!
Too cosy in the southern hemisphere, in fact flat out trying to keep cool, I saw people in their bathers in the supermarket today.
I too like to get out of my bath in the evening and into my pj"s and just sit and relax, more so in the winter though. In the summer I get dressed again - just in case :)
