We bought this from the store that took over Home Base in Bridgend.. its huge and perfect for walking when its wet. Known for its cheaper priced items, B&M has become quite a favourite of ours when its wet.
I'm very, very pleased with our buy.. did you get an Amaryllis this year?

I didn't realise that they grow so fast. It really is a beauty.
I bought one from M and S costing £7.50 as I had my reward vouchers and it is dire!! Still only a few inches tall despite being planted mid December. I usually buy from Lidl or B and M and they have always been excellent. Lesson learned. Catriona
Wow that is a beauty!! I always treat myself to an amaryllis each year, bought a white one from Lidl and it is currently in full bloom with six flowers on one stem and another flower stem appearing, it turned out to be an unusual colour of pale green/yellow so a nice surprise. Jan in Castle Gresley

I have an amaryllis from a couple of years ago. It has bloomed twice, but this year it just grew its leaves. Yours is beautiful.

Your amaryllis is looking lovely. I had a very small bulb this year and wasn't expecting any flowers. The bulb has proved me wrong and I have two beautiful blooms that are just starting to unfurl. I love these bulbs.
