Thank goodness for this....
I don't know what I've done but I've lost some bloggers that always used to leave a comment, but no more? I've visited their blogs and left comments, but none from them?
Did I say something they didn't like, or are my posts boring or is it their tastes have changed? Should I apologize or just move on?
Move on I guess, we are all different with different view points and beliefs. What ever I think you should be true to yourself and beliefs.
I have some one who keeps asking me to be 'friends' on FB, but she blasphemes and I don't like that, so I give her a swerve.. and a blog I've always read, which was interesting, but her language is 'ripe' so I've stopped visiting that blog.
I've dropped writing every day, because not a lot has been happening, I'm not going to write about an 'incident' in my life and end it with 'and then I woke up!' Just the sort of ending my year 3 class would write! I'm a better blogger and writer than that I hope?
Today is our last Welsh session, thank goodness because being up showered and breakfasted by 9:30 on a Monday morning has been very hard.. and we've signed up for next year with the same Tutor and at the same time, well we decided it got us going for the week!
Will I ever be able to speak Welsh fluently? I don't know, 'ond dw i eisiau siarad Cymraig felli bydda i dal i ceisio!'

Da iawn. Dal ati.
You should always write for yourself. I like your blog even though we are from completely different backgrounds. I still haven't got my gooogle account settings sorted out so I can't comment on a lot of blogs, but yours does allow me to. We are into summer holidays now so a lot of people will be spending more time outside. The comments may come back later in the year as the weather becomes colder. Keep on plodding on.
People drift away from blogging, their problem, not yours.
Well done with the Welsh. Dad plodded on with his lessons, had great fun with Welsh words when talking to his computer, and had the delight of understanding a little girl who said about him, “Look Mam, Father Christmas has come to see the doctor!”
Absolutely be true to your self, Chris. Write about what is important to you whether that's something that is challenging, thoughtful, happy - all of it is you. My replies might be slower but I love visiting. You are a breath of fresh air. Hope today is a good one for you x
I read all your posts but never leave a comment. Sorry sorry sorry!
But I enjoy hearing about your life, garden and Welsh lessons.
From freezing cold New Zealand :)
People come and go; sometimes they just need to spend less time reading blogs!
It's great that you are learning what appears and sounds to be a difficult language. But it is your heritage and that makes it important. You get a summer break just as the school age children do, fun. How are the hedge hogs doing? I love seeing your flowers but I don't think I've seen them this year.
I sometimes can’t comment on blogs that I like and it seems to be to do with Google. I enjoy reading your blog and well done on learning Welsh-did you know that learning a new language is one of the best thing you can do to keep your brain active ? Catriona
I'm still here, hope you are getting my comments. I don't think you write anything offensive.
Good for you with the Welsh!
I read your blog most days with interest and enjoyment.

You're doing well if you pushing forwards in learning Welsh it is a very hard language to learn. Even immersed in it as we were when we lived in a very Welsh speaking part of Wales, although we tried to learn the basics, the locals always spoke so fast we didn't have time to make the response before they switched to English. And yes, do keep trying ... bydd yn gyflawniad go iawn
Comments from regulars may stop and start but I bet a lot of them still read. Sometimes it's hard to think of a response to a post, there should be a little 'Like' box that we could press after visiting shouldn't there. I think there used to be on some Wordpress blogs.
My blog is the same, some people who used to leave comments don't anymore. Although a lot of people have abandoned blogging in favour of instagram, personally I prefer reading a blog, I don't always comment on every one I read though, I will try harder, lol.
Well done with keeping up with the Welsh lessons.
Kirsten is right. And sometimes I read a lot of blogs in a day, but dont comment on any. I admire anyone who is learning another language.

I think people stop commenting for a variety of reasons, so it probably isn't even something you said. So don't apologise - you don't even know what you'd be apologising for. I know I'm a very bad blogger regarding comments - both making them myself on other blogs, and replying to comments made on my blog. I do it very sporadically - as in sometimes I do a flurry of comments/replies for a couple of days, then life gets in the way and I don't for a while - no consistency I'm afraid. Just carry on the way you are, Chris.
Hello -- I'm commenting on behalf of Jabblog, who says on her own blog that she has been unable to reach yours to comment. Look at her blog if you can. Maybe there's some kind of a problem with your settings and permissions, though if I can comment (and I've never commented here!) I can't imagine why she wouldn't be able to. It's a mystery.
A while ago your blog came up as not being able to connect, no matter what i tried. Daughter had a look and found my router was blocking the connection, I think you got a new laptop top at the time. Now when I see your post, i disconnect my phone from my home connection, I can then read your post, others have commented about not being able to connect. I have commented on their post in hope they can do the same.
Learning another language is so good for our brains. The effort counts!
I just found out your blog from jabblog. She can't access your blog for some reason. I've signed up to follow, while I'm here anyway. Sometimes people can't comment when iPad does a thing. Apple and Google don't play nice.
Hi, I came over from "jabblog" as she wrote she can't access your blog, and it seems some others had the same problem too. It seems I can, though... I'll report that back to her, hoping that may help in some way to get it sorted out.
I don’t know about others, but my computer software has been blocking your blog and I can’t read your posts most of the time. I think that might have something to do with the fact that I am in the US and you’re in Wales.
But I’ve had so many people come and go over the years, I learned it usually just happens because people get busy.
I am one of those intermittent commenters. I read but don't always have anything to say. I looked just now and saw I'd never joined you as a follower so I took care of that.
I've come across from 'jabblog' who is currently experiencing problems with accessing your blog!
At the moment I have no problem visiting your blog.
I don't necessarily visit every day and do not always leave a comment, but I believe the comments I do leave always appear once you have moderated them.
I will report back to 'jabblog' and let her know that I have been able to visit.
Blogger does have glitches from time to time so hopefully things will be sorted.
All the best Jan
This morning, I was relieved to hear that "jabblog" was experiencing access issues with your blog; I had initially thought it was an issue on my end.
Wow, learning Welsh is a hard language, from what I have heard. Good for you!
Have to admit I haven't been blogging for quite a long time. I had forgotten all about it as I haven't received anything for years.
I admire your determination to learn to speak Welsh. Seems so difficult to even read the road signs but at least there's usually an English translation.
Have you seen Death Valley the new comedy-crime drama starring Timothy Spall and Gwyneth Keyworth? It's set and filmed in various lovely locations across Wales and I'm enjoying it. No bad language which makes a pleasant change!
