Main street in town, no cars allowed after 11:00 am
We have some very pretty shops and also being a seaside town, nik nack shops with buckets and spades. And a lot of cafes all selling ice cream!

Just a selection of some views of Porthcawl. Where we live is just 10 mins from one of the five beaches and also within walking distance there are fields and woodlands, filled with the blue of bluebells in spring time.
A lovely place to live.

Aren't we lucky to live in such beautiful places? I often think we're so blessed to live here, not only for the lovely countryside and beaches just minutes away, but also a civilised country that isn't having bombs dropped on it and where we don't know where our next meal is coming from.

ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty! I'm about 20 minutes from Lake Michigan where we have similar views. The waves an get big, but not usually that big.

ReplyDeleteYou live at the ocean! That is incredible. I'm inland bound by hundreds of miles and have seen the Atlantic only a couple times. Your village looks lovely not all suburban housing like in our USA. Nothing old here except me, lol.
