This was a request on the FB page!! She sounds desperate, but I thought so funny.
I have requested a plumber when we'd had 8 plumbers to look at our old bathroom and fit new one and none got back to us. I was desperate, but it never occurred to me to include crying faces, and I was really, really, really desperate.
Is one eye without false lashes a real emergency?? It seems it was to her! There were suggestions for her, but I wonder what happened, did she get her eye lashes, or go 'commando' (none at all!)

I have only attempted to apply false eyelashes twice in my life and on both occasions I only succeeded in gluing my eyelids together!
ReplyDeleteWell I would have to say this is a funny one. That post just simply makes me laugh as I don't wear a lot of makeup I don't have much sympathy for someone with one eyelash only.
ReplyDeleteShe will certainly look a little unusual, but surely the thing to do would be to remove the lashes from the other eye, then at least she will be symmetrical.
ReplyDeleteIt is a funny request, but I have some people wear eyelashes that were so long, they would look odd with only one. I sometimes wonder how people with these really long lashes even see. :)

ReplyDeleteThis is odd, but if someone lost all their natural eyelashes, it would be very uncomfortable, I think. I've never attempted false eyelashes.

ReplyDeleteThat is so funny and kind of sad to think she was desperate because of eyelashes. If that's all she had to worry about she's got it good!

ReplyDeleteThis reminded me of the late MP Teresa Gorman, who spoke in parliament about a Bill regarding safeguards at tattoo parlours. She explained to the amused house that she had TWO tattoos. As a teenager she overplucked her eyebrows and they never grew back, so she'd had them permanently inked in!
