We were all ready to go for a walk yesterday afternoon when the heavens opened and we were stuck in on a Sunday afternoon.
And so we watched this lovely little film and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Sometimes you need a bit of of a 'cheesy' film.. it was fun and light and sad too.
And 'Wham' sang all the way through and that was lovely too.
Try it and see for yourselves, it chased away the rain and now we're in an early Christmas mode.

Oh, I might give that a go. I don't watch many films and there's loads of Christmas films I've never seen so I set myself a mission last year to start watching those I've missed. I watched a few last December and I'm hoping to do the same again this year.
Some people seem to really dislike this film, but I think it is lovely. I 'got it' just before the big reveal the first time I watched it. So obviously I had to watch it again to look for more clues the next year, and then I have kept watching it every year since.
We have a very late Thanksgiving holiday this year, this Thursday. I usually decorate the Friday or Sat. after. But this year I put up the tree this past weekend. Mostly to beat off the darkness we have for the winter. I have read 2 Christmas novels so far and will start watching a few movies. And yes, the deer over run our yard! Fun to see though.
