We love 'Strictly Come Dancing' on TV even though there has been some unpleasantness and suggestions of the Professionals being too harsh, it hasn't put us off watching it.
We have our favourites who we vote for each week, we make our own comments on their dancing.
(J B Gill and Amy Dowden) Their jive was wow, how did he keep kicking like that, we were out of breath watching him!
(Dr Punam Krishan and Gorka Marquez) She danced beautifully this week, but had very low marks from the judges, we thought she looked beautiful and danced gracefully. But we thought her Viennese Waltz was absolutely gorgeous.
(Wynne Evans and Katya Jones) Wynne was amazing and never kept still, we were clapping and shouting ... go Wynne go! A great Quickstep! We tune in to his Radio show in the mornings on Radio Wales, he's so funny and it is so the way of Welsh people.
In our view its a wonderful entertainment show, its not just the dancing, but the costumes, the make up, the music, the whole show, we love it all! A real Saturday night TV show.
Do you watch it and if you do, do you have favourites and vote for them?

We don't have the same show, here, but, there is a version of it called Dancing with the Stars. I like to watch the dancing.
ReplyDeleteI have watched it in the past. It is entertaining, but I don't really like reality television.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pleasant way to pass an evening with the dancers!
ReplyDeleteAs Bless said, we have a similar show in the US that I find interesting. However, I don't like the hosts that much, so I record it and fast-forward through everything but the dancing and judging.
ReplyDeleteNever have looked at any of these shows.
ReplyDeleteUsed to love our version, Dancing with the Stars, but I'm sitting out this season because of one of the controversial contestants, Anna Delvey, a convicted felon and con-artist .
ReplyDeleteI am not familiar with this show, but sounds like a great way to spend a Saturday night. I love the dancing of Nils and Bianca---i watch them on Facebook Reels and they are just fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI saw a YouTube clip of Chris ? The blind dancer doing a fantastic waltz to You’ll Never Walk Alone. He’s so brave and did so well.
ReplyDeleteNo I don't watch it, I never really have. My Mum used to love it and I think it was her nagging continually at me to watch it that sort of put me off. I did watch the YouTube clip of Chris McCausland dancing the waltz this week on John's blog, now that was lovely.
