Walking.

I've done the virtual walk of the Jesus trail 62.744 km in 91 days (Just under 40 miles) It should have been 90 days, but I had a bad couple of days with my cold. Its done me good, got me walking albeit not miles and miles and also made me realise how little I actually walk!

Most days I didn't start till gone 11am, so I'm going to make a better effort next time, and I have signed up for Barcelona. I've never been there and so looking forward to the street views.

In case you go walking in Barcelona and you see walkers, this is my Bib!!

For anyone curious about these walks, its........

Of course you have to pay, but over all I thought worth it.

  1. You do what I call 'real walking' instead of walking on the spot like I do... real walking is much harder. So that's a really good effort, I'd say! I find these Conqueror routes a great incentive to get my daily step count in. I very much enjoyed Yosemite; all that scrambling and climbing to reach the views was great, something that's impossible for me in real life!

  2. I think what makes this achievement meaningful is not only the distance but the consistency behind it, especially while dealing with being unwell for part of the challenge. These kinds of virtual walks are such a clever way to stay motivated because they combine movement with curiosity and exploration. It is also interesting how experiences like this make people more aware of their everyday habits and routines. Barcelona sounds like a wonderful next choice and the street views will probably make the walks feel even more immersive and enjoyable. I recently shared a new post on my blog too and would love for you to stop by and read it www.melodyjacob.com

  8. Well done Chris. A great achievement. I had never seen this app before but it looks a fun way to encourage more consistant exercise habits. I hope you enjoy your next journey.
