Are these the most beautiful?

These are suggested to be the twelve most beautiful sentences ever written.. Do you agree, do you have one you think is more beautiful?

  4. If poetry is allowed I would like to nominate the last verse of Adlestrop, by Edward Thomas, which is a sentence:-
    And for that minute a blackbird sang
    Close by, and round him, mistier,
    Farther and farther, all the birds
    Of Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire.
    It just makes my heart soar whenever I think of it.

  10. So many wonderful words. However, I would find it hard to categorize them as most beautiful. That depends on the reader, I believe.
