Ta-da

Finished yeh!! And I am pleased.. I wondered about the colour combination but now it's done, to me it looks ok! And it has made a big hole in my stash so if I feel the urge to buy yarn I won't feel a bit guilty.  It's going to be left in the car in case we're stopped in snow, as we were the first week of December last year, when we joined 100s of other cars on the A14. I huddled under the only blanket in the car, which was the dogs! Fortunately it hadn't long been washed so it wasn't smelly! And she was cosy back in kennels.

I am now knitting a baby's pram or carry seat blanket to use up some more! And I 'm enjoying doing it under the umbrella in the garden in our beautiful summer weather.
Anyone else sewing or knitting outside?

Hi Chris, It has been awhile since I have been to visit here on blog land. A lot has gone on in my life lately. I love the afghan that you made. I like the colors. It keeps your hands busy and I am glad you are enjoying the outdoor weather. Take Care. Hugs and prayers from your Missouri Friend Shirley

This is beautiful Chris. I wish I could be stitching outside Chris. I cannot.

A car blanket is a wonderful thing. My granddaughter impatiently shifts mine around the back, but when we need it, she won't be sorry.

The colour combination works well. Your blanket looks good. I'm knitting in the evenings. I'm finding that stocking stitch and catching up on some foreign language series is a good combination.

Love that blanket, so colourful & it will be warm.

I have a couple which my husband loves to use to save switching the central heating up.

I don't go outside in warm weather, I've been hibernating. Got a bit addicted to watching Sewing Quarter especially the Christmas ones this week. An expensive addiction I'm afraid but I love watching them quilt & seeing the gorgeous colour combinations.
