Summer has arrived!!

My Summer exchange has arrived so I can now show it.. it is stitched on Cream 32c linen with variegated threads from Vicky Clayton and Crescent Colours. Its called 'Once upon a Tree:Summer'and designed by Jeanette Douglas. I loved stitching it as it had lots of specialised stitches all learnt on a stitching couple of days with Sue Hawkins

Its backed with the fabic shown in the photo.

And I added some little gifts as well, Glad Rachael liked them all

And here is a corner of my summer garden, all grown from seed especially the grasses and wheat and oats all courtesy of DH bird feeding hangers!!

And some beautiful pelagoniums in our conservatory which I think are the best conservatory flowers you can have, so summery!!

And don't forget to sign up for my Blogoversay give away!

Your garden looks great.

The pelagoniums remind me of living in West Germany, where nearly every house had them on display in the windows or in window boxes.

Fabulous exchange, where did you get the pin tin from?

That is a really lovely pinkeep. Jeannette Douglas does make them challenging. Lovely gifts sent too.

Lovely exchange piece Chris, not seen that one before. Your garden is looking lovely dispite Nell's efforts to run havoc through it and the grasses sit well in with the plants. Love the pelagoniums too, Tony's favourite plant....

Lovely job on the Jeannette Douglas piece. I've been collecting these trees as they've come out.

Pelagoniums sure look like geraniums!

Lucky Rachael, that is one gorgeous exchange piece. Lovely flowers & garden. Got a few grasses that way too - really generous with seed dispersal, those birds. LOL :0)
